We would like to invite you on presenting the Standardized Package of Community-Based Support Services to Improve TB Outcomes, will take place during high level online event on
October 29, 2021
at 10:00-12:00 a.m. (Kyiv time).
What should be the non-medical services for people affected by TB and group risk? How should they be provided and what is needed to adapt them to national needs in EECA countries?
The answers to these questions will be in a new document developed by the TB Europe Coalition in together with the Centrul PAS and the WHO Regional Office for Europe under the TB-REP 2.0 project.
The Standardized Package of Community-Based Support Services to Improve TB Outcomes is intended to support countries in EECA region in the process of implementation of the people-centred model. The document defines the content and provides instructions for the provision of non-medical services to TB affected people and groups of population that are at increased risk of TB.
During the event (please find the agenda here
) with the participation of representatives of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, WHO Regional Office for Europe, Ministries of Health, National TB Programs, civil society organizations and communities affected by TB, we will also discuss the recommendations contained in the document on the specifics of adapting the Standardized Package of Services to the countries needs of the EECA region, namely: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
