Regional Summary on the key findings of the Baseline assessment with the use of the Annex 2 of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework to Accelerate Progress to End TB (MAF-TB) in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Ukraine Assessment have been published.

Over the past year, regional partners from civil society and TB-affected communities, in collaboration with national TB programs at ministries of health and country coordinating committees and with support TB Europe coalition, completed Annex 2 of the MAF-TB Baseline Assessment Checklist   in five pilot countries. General technical guidance at the country level for completing the MAF-TB Baseline Assessment Checklist and associated annexes was provided by the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

This assessment helped to determine what makes the participation of civil society organizations and communities in the TB response meaningful and the role of multisectoral collaboration and accountability for meaningful participation.
