The WHO European Region is increasingly focusing on multisectoral engagement and accountability for ending TB.

Thus, the implementation of the Multisectoral accountability framework to accelerate progress to end TB (MAF-TB) has already begun with a baseline assessment of the the situation in accordance with the MAF -TB Checklist in 5 pilot countries of the EECA region.

TB Europe Coalition has developed a booklet “Multisectoral accountability framework to accelerate progress to end TB (MAF-TB). The political will at the national level is the key to fulfilling the global commitments.”.  it makes it easier for representatives of civil society and TB affected communities to understand the global policy background, objectives, and milestones of the implementation of MAF-TB, and can easily inform about this decision-makers.

The booklet was developed in the framework of the “Challenge Facility for Civil Society” grant activity implemented by TBEC in the EECA countries funded by Stop TB Partnership and is available at:
